Centra Healthcare Solutions Inc seeks an experienced Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a contract assignment in Kansas. The role involves delivering skilled speech therapy within an interdisciplinary team, following physician orders, and contributing to care plans and goal setting.

Required are graduation from an accredited program, an active state license (or in process), and CPR certification. SLP-CCC is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited school.
• Current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist / SLP or in licensure process.
• Current CPR certification.
• Work within an interdisciplinary team to develop a plan of care for each patient.
• Provide skilled speech therapy services / interventions in accordance with physician orders.
• Assesses patient needs, plans for, evaluates and modifies care to meet goals of speech therapy interventions.
• Set realistic and achievable goals for patients to develop, or recover, reliable communication and swallowing skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop a plan of care for each patient in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Provide skilled speech therapy services in accordance with physician orders.

Requirements include:

• Must have graduated from an accredited school.
• Current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist / SLP or proactively in the process of the application process for current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologue / SLP.
• Current CPR certification.
• Work within an interdisciplinary team to develop a plan of care for each patient.
• Provide skilled speech therapy services / interventions in accordance with physician orders.
• Assesses patient needs, plans for, evaluates and modifies care to meet goals of speech therapy interventions.
