Job summary

iDEAL HIRE is seeking a School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist to provide assessment, treatment, and consultation for K-12 students in West Palm Beach, FL. The role is full-time and in-person, with a possible virtual option discussed if suitable.

You will develop individualized plans, monitor progress, and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student communication needs while maintaining detailed records.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Valid FL SLP License (FLBSLP) required.
• ASHA CCC certification preferred.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience working with K–12 students.
• Bilingual skills are a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language therapy services, including assessment, treatment, and consultation, to students with communication disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students in grades K-12.
• Conduct evaluations and monitor progress to inform instructional decisions.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student communication needs.
• Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports for each student.
• Adapt therapy techniques based on evidence-based practices for diverse learners.
• Support students with complex communication needs in a school-based environment.

Job description

This is a full-time, school-based role, working in West Palm Beach, FL, offering a pay rate of $51/hr.

The role is PREFERRED IN PERSON, however, the school is open to discussing a virtual option if it was the right fit.

• Bilingual skills are a plus but not required.
