The SLP collaborates with clients, families, staff, schools, medical professionals, and other members of the care team to ensure quality, coordinated services. Knowledge of current speech-language pathology practices, contraindications, and evidence-based treatment methodologies is expected. The SLP also contributes to program development and other initiatives that support an effective speech pathology department.
