Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist to serve a middle school caseload in a supportive school setting. You will evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders, collaborating with teachers and families to promote student progress.

Requirements include a Master’s in SLP, active state licensure, SLP-CCC or eligibility for SLP-CFY, and experience in school settings. Bilingual candidates are especially valued to reach more students and families.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences.
  • Active state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • SLP-CCC or eligibility for SLP-CFY supervision.
  • Experience in school settings, ideally with middle school students.
  • Bilingual abilities highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in middle school-aged students.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student goals.
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to foster student progress; maintain accurate documentation of assessments, IEP meetings, and sessions.
  • Provide education and resources to parents and staff regarding speech and language development.
  • Adapt and modify interventions to support cultural and linguistic diversity.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and colleagues
  • Bilingual abilities (highly preferred)
