6AM City, LLC is hiring a bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist to support PreK-8th grade students across multiple sites in the Chicago area. This full-time, in-person contract role emphasizes collaboration with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

Ideal candidates hold SLP-CCC credentials and are eligible for Illinois licensure. Spanish fluency is preferred but not required, with strong interpersonal and communication skills essential for success in multicultural school settings.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) with eligibility for Illinois licensure.
  • School-based SLP experience, preferably in multicultural or urban settings.
  • Bilingual Spanish abilities are a plus but not mandatory.
  • Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Provide speech-language therapy services to PreK-8th grade students.
  • Complete assessments, develop IEPs, and maintain documentation.
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Support language, social, academic, and functional communication needs.
  • Provide services across multiple sites with flexibility across diverse populations.

Bring your expertise and passion for helping students thrive as a bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist working in a vibrant charter school network spanning communities from Chicago to North Chicago. This full-time, in-person contract opportunity supports students across multiple grades and locations, offering you the chance to make a significant impact throughout the academic year.

Ideal candidates hold current SLP-CCC credentials and enjoy working across diverse school settings. If you thrive in multicultural environments and have fluency in Spanish, your skills will be highly valued—although Spanish is preferred, it is not required for this role. Your assignments could include PreK through 8th grades, with primary responsibilities at two school sites and the possibility of serving a third.
