Lifepoint Rehabilitation is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join the 15-bed Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit at Baystate Noble Hospital in Westfield, MA. This PRN role focuses on adults with swallowing and communication needs, delivering individualized therapy and collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team.
Requirements include a Master’s in SLP, MA licensure, CCC-SLP, and BLS/CPR; acute care or rehab experience preferred.

Lifepoint Rehabilitation partners within Baystate Noble Hospital’s 15 bed Acute Rehabilitation Unit. Our rehab professionals offer individualized treatment programs for patients 18 years and older, caring for a variety of situations. Baystate Noble Hospital is a 65‑bed acute care community hospital located in Westfield, Massachusetts. As part of the Baystate Health network, we provide access to world‑class physicians, advanced treatments, cutting‑edge diagnostics, and the latest medical technology. Our inpatient rehabilitation program supports patients recovering from life‑altering injuries or illnesses, offering 24/7 nursing care and continuous support. We treat a wide range of conditions, including concussions, lymphedema, orthopedic and sports injuries, lower back and neck pain, and neuromuscular disorders. Our comprehensive therapy services include physical, occupational, and speech therapy to help patients regain function and independence.
The Speech‑Language Pathologist (SLP) is responsible for assessing patients’ speech, language, communication, and swallowing abilities and developing individualized treatment plans to address their needs. This role involves implementing therapeutic interventions, educating patients and families on therapy goals and techniques, and accurately documenting evaluations, treatments, and progress in accordance with professional and regulatory standards. The SLP collaborates closely with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure coordinated, patient‑centered care. Prior experience in an acute care or rehabilitation setting is preferred.

Hourly range: $48.00 - $50.00 per hour
