Job summary

Vibra Hospital of Western Massachusetts is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join Lifepoint Rehabilitation on a full-time basis. This nonexempt role supports LTACH and SNF settings at the same location, with days, 4–5 days a week, and flexible scheduling across weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

The SLP will assess and treat speech, language, and swallowing disorders, develop individualized plans, document progress, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program or eligible for ASHA CCC.
  • Current and unrestricted Speech Language Pathologist license in the state of practice.
  • CCC-SLP eligibility or certification as per ASHA guidelines.
  • CPR/BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

  • Assess patients' speech, language, communication, and swallowing abilities and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Implement speech-language pathology interventions and educate patients and families on therapy goals.
  • Document evaluations, treatments, and progress in compliance with standards.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care.

How You'll Contribute

The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is responsible for assessing patients' speech, language, communication, and swallowing abilities and developing individualized treatment plans to address their needs. This role involves implementing therapeutic interventions, educating patients and families on therapy goals and techniques, and accurately documenting evaluations, treatments, and progress in accordance with professional and regulatory standards. The SLP collaborates closely with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care. Prior experience in an acute care or rehabilitation setting is preferred.

What We're Looking For
  • Graduate of a master's level program in Speech Language Pathology which is accredited by Education Standards Board or whose practice meets ASHA certification requirements
  • Current and unrestricted Speech Language Pathologist license in the state where services are rendered
  • Meet the education and experience requirements for Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology or Audiology granted by ASHA
  • CPR/Basic Life Support (BLS)

Hourly range: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
