FullShift Staffing in Worcester, MA seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for skilled nursing settings. Contract length is 13 weeks with possible extension, or a permanent placement option. Shifts are days with excellent hourly pay plus housing and travel stipends for travelers.

New grads are welcome and will join a supportive team. Expect collaboration with an interdisciplinary team and meaningful patient impact on communication, cognition, and swallowing.

Qualifications

• Must hold active SLP license in the state of employment.
• CCC-SLP certification preferred.
• BLS/CPR certification current or able to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive, voice and swallowing disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Assess and monitor patient progress; adjust interventions as needed.

Position: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

What We’re Looking For:

• Passionate speech therapy provider
• Comfortable working in the SNF setting
• Quick learner who can adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills

Requirements:

• Active Speech-Language Pathology License in the state of employment (or ability to obtain) – New grads welcome!
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Current BLS/CPR Certification (or ability to obtain)
• Current TB test/results
• Current physical stating fit for duty (within past year)

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive, voice, and swallowing disorders
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Assess and monitor patient progress, adjusting interventions as needed
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes
• Educate patients and families on therapy goals and strategies
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
