Job summary

FullShift Staffing is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a skilled nursing facility setting. The role offers 13-week contracts with extension options or permanent placement, working days with competitive hourly pay and housing/travel stipends for travelers.

New grads welcome and supported in growth, with opportunities to impact patients’ speech, cognition and swallowing while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Active Speech-Language Pathology License in the state of employment (or ability to obtain).
• CCC-SLP certification preferred.
• Current BLS/CPR Certification (or ability to obtain).
• Current TB test/results.
• Current physical stating fit for duty (within past year).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive, voice, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Assess and monitor patient progress, adjusting interventions as needed.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on therapy goals and strategies.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
