Job summary

FullShift Staffing is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a Skilled Nursing Facility setting. The position offers a 13-week contract with extension options or a permanent placement path.

You will evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive, voice, and swallowing disorders, develop individualized plans, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes. Housing and travel stipends are provided.

Qualifications

• Active Speech-Language Pathology license in the state of employment (or ability to obtain).
• CCC-SLP preferred.
• Current BLS/CPR certification or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive, voice and swallowing disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Assess and monitor patient progress, adjusting interventions as needed.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure best outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on therapy goals and strategies.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.

Requirements:

• Active Speech-Language Pathology License in the state of employment (or ability to obtain) – New grads welcome!
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Current BLS/CPR Certification (or ability to obtain)
• Current TB test/results
• Current physical stating fit for duty (within past year)
