Job summary

AdviniaCare in Woonsocket, RI is seeking a compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist to join our interdisciplinary rehabilitation team. You will evaluate residents, design and implement personalized treatment plans, and promote communication, swallowing safety, and quality of life.

Collaborate with therapists and nursing staff to coordinate care, educate families, and document progress. A Rhode Island state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist is required.

Responsibilities

• Assess resident needs and develop individualized treatment plans to achieve goals
• Implement and modify treatment plans to address physical, cognitive, and emotional needs
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure coordination of care
• Educate residents and their families on therapeutic exercises and techniques
• Monitor and report on resident progress and outcomes
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient care
