Job summary

RCM Healthcare Services is seeking a School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the Victor Valley, CA area. This onsite school setting role runs the 2026–2027 school year on a full-time schedule, with a Monday–Friday school-day shift and an hourly rate of $65.00–$69.00 based on experience.

The SLP will deliver direct speech-language therapy, develop individualized goals, document progress, and collaborate with teachers, families, and a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
• Active California SLP license or eligibility.
• Appropriate California school-based credential/authorization.
• ASHA CCC preferred.

Responsibilities

School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Hourly Rate: $65.00–$69.00 per hour, based on experience

Location: Victor Valley, CA
Onsite – School Setting

Position Summary

As a School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist, you will provide speech and language services to students in an educational setting. You will develop and implement individualized treatment plans designed to support students’ communication skills and educational progress. This position works collaboratively with teachers, families, administrators, and other members of the multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities

Schedule / Shift

• Shift details: Monday through Friday; school-day schedule
• Contract length: 2026–2027 school year
• Employment type: Full-time

Key Duties

• Provide direct speech and language therapy services in accordance with students’ documented treatment plans, IEPs, and established protocols
• Evaluate students’ communication needs and develop individualized treatment goals and interventions
• Document student progress through therapy notes, progress reports, and other required records
• Prepare, adapt, and modify therapy materials and equipment based on individual student needs
• Collaborate with teachers, families, administrators, and multidisciplinary team members to support student success

Requirements

Education

• Required: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Sciences and Disorders, or a related field

Licenses & Certifications

• Required: Active California Speech-Language Pathologist license or eligibility to obtain one
• Appropriate California school-based credential or authorization, as required by the district
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence preferred
• Current required clearances and background checks

• Ability to collaborate effectively with school staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage student documentation and service schedules
