Job summary

St. Mary Rehabilitation Hospital seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist for a full-time role in an inpatient rehabilitation setting. The position involves assessing communication and swallowing abilities and creating individualized treatment plans to support recovery.

You will educate patients and families about therapy goals, document progress, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care. CPR certification, SLP licensure, and ASHA certification are required.

Qualifications

• Education: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Experience: Experience in acute or rehab setting preferred.
• License: Current SLP license and ASHA certification.
• Certifications: CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assess speech, language, and swallowing abilities.
• Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Provide education to patients and families regarding therapy goals.
• Document evaluations, treatments, and patient progress accurately.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams on care coordination.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
