Job summary

Rivers Edge Nursing & Rehab in Wisconsin seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to assess, diagnose, and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Completion of clinical fellowship or equivalent experience.
  • CCC-SLP certification.
  • Wisconsin State Licensure in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to providing exceptional patient care and service.

Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

As a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) at Rivers Edge Nursing & Rehab, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our patients and residents. Our rehabilitation team is dedicated to delivering exceptional care and rehabilitation services to our community, and we are seeking a skilled and compassionate SLP to join our team.

About the Role:

As a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. You will design and implement individualized treatment plans, develop and lead therapy groups, and collaborate with other members of our interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care. You will also maintain accurate records, report to physicians and other healthcare professionals, and provide education and training to patients, families, and caregivers.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess and evaluate patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patient goals and needs

  • Provide speech and language therapy services to patients, including individual and group sessions

Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program

  • Current certification in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)

  • Wisconsin State Licensure in Speech-Language Pathology

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
