Job summary

Lilac Learning Center in Washington is seeking a Part-Time Speech-Language Pathologist to join our interdisciplinary team. This role offers hybrid or fully remote options, about 20 hours per week, and competitive pay of $65–$70/hour.

You will conduct speech-language evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans and IEP goals, and provide direct therapy to students in a collaborative setting. The ideal candidate holds a Master’s degree in SLP, current CCC-SLP, and WA licensure or

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
  • Current ASHA CCC-SLP certification.
  • WA SLP license or eligibility via the Interstate Compact.
  • Washington ESA Certification preferred. Credential Concierge support available.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to collaborate within an interdisciplinary educational team.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct speech-language evaluations and assessments.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals.
  • Provide direct speech-language therapy services.
  • Support receptive and expressive language, articulation, fluency, voice, pragmatic language, and AAC.
  • Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with families.
  • Partner with teachers, BCBAs, Occupational Therapists, and Behavior Technicians.
  • Coach educational teams on communication strategies that promote student success.

What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Washington State SLP License or eligibility through the ASLP Interstate Compact
  • Washington ESA Certificate preferred. Candidates eligible to obtain an ESA after hire are strongly encouraged to apply. Lilac's Credential Concierge Program provides step-by-step guidance and support throughout the certification process
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within an interdisciplinary educational team
Preferred Qualifications
  • School-based or pediatric experience
  • Experience supporting students with autism
  • Experience with AAC
  • Knowledge of IDEA, FAPE, IEP development, and school-based service delivery
