Job summary

InHome Therapy is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) to provide in-home services for adults and seniors in and around Sarasota, FL. You will assess communication, cognition and swallowing, develop goals, and implement therapy programs in patients' homes.

The role offers flexible scheduling, consistent caseload, and strong clinical/administrative support. Compensation is per visit, with rates between $75 and $90, plus mileage reimbursement and training.

Qualifications

• Active license to practice Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) in good standing.
• BLS CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver in-home speech therapy services to adult and geriatric patients.
• Evaluate communication, cognition, and swallowing to set individualized goals.
• Implement rehabilitation and therapeutic exercises.
• Educate patients and families on recovery plans and preventive care.
• Maintain accurate home health care documentation per Medicare and agency standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver in-home speech therapy services to adult and geriatric patients in your community
• Evaluate patient communication, cognition, and swallowing to develop individualized treatment goals
• Implement effective rehabilitation and therapeutic exercise programs
• Educate patients and families on recovery plans and preventive care
• Maintain accurate and timely home health care documentation per Medicare and agency standards

Requirements

• Active Speech Therapist (SLP-CCC) license in good standing
• BLS CPR certification
• Reliable transportation to see patients in their homes
• Basic comfort with technology - email, texting, EMR systems (training provided)

*This position is paid on a per-visit basis. Final compensation is based on experience, qualifications, and internal equity.
