Job summary

HealthPro Heritage is seeking a PRN Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to work in a senior living community at Sunrise of Huntcliff Summit II in Sandy Springs, GA.

Pay range: $48-$50/hr depending on experience. Flexible Scheduling and a supportive rehab team create a welcoming environment for patients and staff alike.

Qualifications

• Education: Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Licensure: Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist, or license eligible.
• Certification: ASHA CCC-SLP and current state licensure.
• Skills: Strong assessment, diagnostic and therapeutic abilities with excellent communication.

Responsibilities

• Patient Assessment: Evaluate speech, language, voice and swallowing with standardized tests and observations.
• Treatment and Education: Implement evidence‑based therapies; monitor and adjust plans; educate patients and families.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of evaluations, progress and plans.
• Collaboration: Work with healthcare providers and participate in multidisciplinary meetings.

Responsibilities

• Patient Assessment: Conduct comprehensive evaluations of speech, language, voice, and swallowing abilities using standardized tests and clinical observations. Develop accurate diagnoses based on assessment results.
• Treatment and Education: Implement evidence‑based therapies for speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders; monitor and adjust treatment plans; educate and support patients and families on disorders, treatment strategies, and daily communication improvement.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of evaluations, progress, and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Collaboration: Work with healthcare providers to ensure effective patient care and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings as needed.

Qualifications

• Education: Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Licensure: Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist, or license eligible
• Certification: Current state licensure as a Speech‑Language Pathologist. Certification from the American Speech‑Language‑Hearing Association (ASHA) (CCC‑SLP).
• Skills: Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in using diagnostic tools, therapy equipment, relevant software, and electronic health record systems, with a proven ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
