Job summary

HealthPro Heritage is seeking a Part-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our therapy team in Dunwoody, GA. You will serve across Berman Commons, Dunwoody Pines, and Brighton Gardens of Dunwoody, with Berman Commons as home base, within a 10-minute drive of each site.

The role offers a 16-hour/week schedule (4 hours/day, 4 days/week), Monday through Friday, with no weekends. You will conduct assessments, provide evidence-based therapy for speech, language, voice, and swallowing, and

Qualifications

  • Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist, or license eligible
  • Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) (CCC-SLP).
  • Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Patient Assessment: Conduct comprehensive evaluations of speech, language, voice, and swallowing abilities using standardized tests and observations; develop accurate diagnoses.
  • Treatment and Education: Implement evidence-based therapies; monitor and adjust treatment plans; educate patients and families.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of evaluations, progress, and treatment plans in EHR and compliant with standards.
  • Collaboration: Work with healthcare providers and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings.

This position provides services across Berman Commons, Dunwoody Pines, and Brighton Gardens of Dunwoody, with Berman Commons serving as your home base. All three communities are conveniently located within a 10-minute drive of one another.

Position Highlights:

  • Competitive pay in the mid to upper $40s/hour, based on experience and availability
  • Part-time schedule – 16 hours per week - 4 hours per day/ 4 days a week

  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of evaluations, progress, and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Collaboration: Work with healthcare providers to ensure effective patient care and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings as needed.
Qualifications
  • Education: Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Licensure: Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist, or license eligible
  • Certification: Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) (CCC-SLP).
  • Skills: Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in using diagnostic tools, therapy equipment, relevant software, and electronic health record systems, with a proven ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
