North-Texas-Therapy-and-Home-Car in Texas is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide high-quality services in patient homes for children aged 0-21. The role requires a master's degree, Texas licensure, and successful completion of the CF year (CCC-SLP), with at least some pediatrics experience.

Responsibilities include administering tests, interpreting results, collaborating with the care team, and educating families.

Formación

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• CCC-SLP certification completed
• Texas license to practice Speech-Language Pathology
• Experience in pediatrics required
• Home health experience preferred
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus
• Must carry valid auto insurance and driver's license

Responsabilidades

• Provide skilled speech therapy services in the home or daytime facility for patients 0–21 years old, 2+ times per week, per physician orders
• Define degree/type of speech, language, voice, oral-motor, swallowing, feeding, auditory processing, and/or fluency impairments using appropriate testing instruments
• Interpret diagnostic data and prepare written diagnostic reports
• Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team to plan/evaluate goals and advise on speech therapy modalities
• Plan for and modify care to meet goals of speech therapy interventions
• Educate staff, caregivers, and patients with training materials and in-service programs
• Possibly supervise Clinical Fellows of Speech Pathology and/or SLP Assistants if 3+ years experience

• Successful completion of the Clinical Fellowship year, CCC-SLP
• License to practice Speech-Language Pathology in the state of Texas
• Experience in pediatrics required
• Home health experience preferred
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus
• Must carry valid auto insurance and drivers license.

Responsibilities:

• Provide skilled speech therapy services in the home or daytime facility of patients 0-21 years of age, 2 or more times per week, in accordance with physician orders
• Define patients degree and type of speech, language, voice, oral-motor, swallowing, feeding, auditory processing, and/or fluency impairment(s) by selecting and administering the most appropriate testing instruments
• Interpret diagnostic data and prepare written diagnostic reports
• In collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team, plan and evaluate team goals for each patient as well as advise, consult, and instruct team in specific speech therapy modalities and interventions
• Plan for and modify care to meet goals of speech therapy interventions
• Educate staff, caregivers, and patients by designing and delivering training, printed material/resources and in-service programs in accordance with a total speech therapy program
• May provide supervision to Clinical Fellows of Speech Pathology and/or Speech-Language Pathology Assistants if you possess three or more years of experience
