Job summary

North-Texas-Therapy-and-Home-Car is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide pediatric home health services for patients aged 0-21. Responsibilities include aligning with physician orders and delivering therapy 2+ times weekly in patients' homes or daytime facilities.

Responsibilities also cover diagnosing and reporting, collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team, educating staff and families, and potentially supervising Clinical Fellows if you have 3+ years of experience.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited college or University.
• CCC-SLP certification and Texas licensure required to practice.
• Pediatric experience required.
• Spanish bilingual is a plus.
• Must carry valid auto insurance and driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled speech therapy services in the home or daytime facility of patients 0-21 years of age, 2 or more times per week, in accordance with physician orders.
• Define patients degree and type of speech, language, voice, oral-motor, swallowing, feeding, auditory processing, and/or fluency impairment(s) by selecting and administering the most appropriate testing instruments
• Interpret diagnostic data and prepare written diagnostic reports
• In collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team, plan and evaluate team goals for each patient as well as advise, consult, and instruct team in specific speech therapy modalities and interventions
• Plan for and modify care to meet goals of speech therapy interventions
• Educate staff, caregivers, and patients by designing and delivering training, printed material/resources and in-service programs in accordance with a total speech therapy program
• May provide supervision to Clinical Fellows of Speech Pathology and/or Speech-Language Pathology Assistants if you possess three or more years of experience

• Experience in pediatrics required
• Home health experience preferred
