Job summary

HealthPro Heritage in Hermosa Beach and Redondo Beach is seeking a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist to join our outpatient therapy teams. This split position offers 10-15 hours per week with compensation of $55-$58 per hour, at two facilities including an assisted living environment and a memory care setting.

Responsibilities include comprehensive evaluations, evidence-based treatment, thorough documentation, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to support patient communication

Qualifications

• Must hold degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure as an SLP; ASHA CCC-SLP preferred.
• Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapy skills with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of speech, language, voice, and swallowing.
• Implement evidence-based therapies and monitor progress.
• Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations and plans.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers in a multidisciplinary team.

• Split position between two wonderful facilities located in Hermosa Beach and Redondo Beach
• Hours: 10-15 hours per week
• Compensation: $55-$58 per hour
• Setting for Redondo Beach: Outpatient Therapy program inside of an Assisted/Independent Living facility.
• Setting for Hermosa Beach: Highly-rated and beautiful Assisted Living, Memory Care, and Short-term stay facility.

Responsibilities

• Patient Assessment: Conduct comprehensive evaluations of speech, language, voice, and swallowing abilities using standardized tests and clinical observations. Develop accurate diagnoses based on assessment results.
• Treatment and Education: Implement evidence-based therapies for speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders; monitor and adjust treatment plans; educate and support patients and families on disorders, treatment strategies, and daily communication improvement.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of evaluations, progress, and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Collaboration: Work with healthcare providers to ensure effective patient care and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings as needed.

Qualifications

• Education: Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Licensure: Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist, or license eligible
• Certification: Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) (CCC-SLP).
• Skills: Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in using diagnostic tools, therapy equipment, relevant software, and electronic health record systems, with a proven ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
