Job summary

Job Overview – Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Compensation: $65 – $85/hour

Location: New York, NY

Schedule: Full-Time, Part-Time, or Per Diem (School Schedule)

TAG MedStaffing is hiring Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) and Clinical Fellows (CFs) in New York, NY for our client, supporting speech therapy services in school-based settings for the upcoming school year. This role offers flexible placements across NYC, allowing you to work in a location that fits your preferences. You will support students with speech, language, and communication development while delivering therapy aligned with IEP goals and the academic calendar.

Responsibilities as the Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Provide speech and language therapy services in individual and group settings aligned with IEP requirements.
  • Support students in improving speech, language, and communication skills for classroom success.
  • Maintain accurate records, prepare progress reports, and participate in IEP meetings.
Qualifications for the Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a related field is required.
  • Active New York State SLP license or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship is required.
  • TSSLD certification is required or must be obtained.
  • School-based experience is preferred, with Clinical Fellows encouraged to apply.
  • Demonstrates strong communication, organization, and the ability to support students in a structured school environment.
