Job Overview – Speech-Language Pathologist (School-Based)

Compensation: $65 – $80/hour

Schedule: Full-Time, Part-Time, or Per Diem (School Schedule)

TAG MedStaffing is hiring multiple Speech-Language Pathologists (School-Based) and Clinical Fellows (CFs) in Brooklyn, NY for our client, supporting speech therapy services within DOE-aligned school settings for the upcoming school year. This role offers flexible school placements, working with students on speech, language, and communication development. You will deliver therapy aligned with IEP goals while following the academic calendar, with opportunities for both experienced SLPs and CFs.

Responsibilities as the Speech-Language Pathologist (School-Based):
  • Therapy Delivery: Provide speech and language therapy services in individual and group settings aligned with IEP requirements.
  • Communication Development: Support students in improving speech, language, and communication skills for classroom success.
  • IEP & Documentation: Maintain accurate records, prepare progress reports, and participate in IEP meetings.
Qualifications for the Speech-Language Pathologist (School-Based):
  • Education: Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a related field is required.
  • Licensure: Active New York State SLP license or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship is required.
  • Certification: TSSLD certification is required or must be obtained.
  • Experience: School-based experience is preferred, with Clinical Fellows encouraged to apply.
