True North Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in Bronx, NY to support children with disabilities in a school setting.

This full-time role offers a day shift on a Monday–Friday schedule with annual compensation ranging from $63K to $78K. The ideal candidate holds a Master's in Speech-Language Pathology, current NY licensure, CCC-SLP, and has a strong understanding of child development.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current New York licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• CCC-SLP certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
• Strong understanding of child development and typical speech and language milestones.
• Pediatric experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assessment & Evaluation: Conduct comprehensive evaluations using standardized tests and observations to identify and assess speech and language difficulties.
• Intervention Planning: Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) with specific goals, therapy strategies, and measurable outcomes tailored to each student.
• Therapy Delivery: Provide individual or group therapy using techniques like articulation drills, language stimulation, and play-based interventions.
• Collaboration & Consultation: Work with teachers, parents, and professionals to support student communication needs and overall development.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain progress records, write reports for IEP meetings, and communicate findings.
