Job summary

Tom Trese Networking LLC seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a Bronx, NY school dedicated to helping children with disabilities. This full-time role welcomes new grads and requires a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, NY licensure, and CCC-SLP (ASHA).

Pediatric experience is a plus, with a supportive, school-based schedule. The SLP will assess, plan interventions, deliver therapy, and collaborate with teachers and families to promote communication development.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current New York licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • CCC-SLP certification from ASHA.
  • Strong understanding of child development and typical speech and language milestones.
  • Pediatric experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Assessment & Evaluation: Conduct comprehensive evaluations using standardized tests and observations to identify and assess speech and language difficulties.
  • Intervention Planning: Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) with specific goals, therapy strategies, and measurable outcomes tailored to each student.
  • Therapy Delivery: Provide individual or group therapy using techniques like articulation drills, language stimulation, and play-based interventions.
  • Collaboration & Consultation: Work with teachers, parents, and professionals to support student communication needs and overall development.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain progress records, write reports for IEP meetings, and communicate findings.

Our client, a school dedicated to supporting children with disabilities, is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for their Bronx, NY location.
