HealthPro Heritage in Naperville, IL is seeking a PRN Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to support our Senior Living division. The role offers an hourly wage of $52–$56, based on experience, with a flexible PRN schedule and opportunities to float to an Assisted Living Facility in Plainfield, IL.

• Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist, or license eligible.
• ASHA CCC-SLP certification.
• Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience using diagnostic tools, therapy equipment, and electronic health record systems.

Responsibilities

• Patient Assessment: Conduct comprehensive evaluations of speech, language, voice, and swallowing abilities using standardized tests and observations; develop diagnoses.
• Treatment and Education: Implement evidence-based therapies and educate patients and families on disorders and daily communication improvements.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of evaluations, progress, and treatment plans compliant with standards.
• Collaboration: Work with healthcare providers and participate in multidisciplinary meetings as needed.

Qualifications

• Education: Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution.


• Licensure: Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist, or license eligible


• Certification: Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) (CCC-SLP).


• Skills: Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in using diagnostic tools, therapy equipment, relevant software, and electronic health record systems, with a proven ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
