IHA seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide high-quality services in an acute care and inpatient rehabilitation setting. The role emphasizes evaluation, treatment, and interdisciplinary collaboration to improve patient participation, independence, and communication.

Majority of hours are spent in acute care, however, position will be required to cover inpatient rehabilitation unit, as well as, videofluoroscopic swallow studies.

Assumes full responsibility for providing quality speech language pathology services in compliance with ASHA and SLP scope of practice. Independently provides comprehensive services to improve patient participation, independence, and functioning through the evaluation of medical necessity for skilled speech therapy services, evidence-based therapeutic interventions, multidisciplinary team Involvement, counseling, referrals, and education.
