Job summary

Trilogy Health Services is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist in Marion, Ohio. The role provides a full range of speech-language pathology services, including assessment, treatment planning, and therapy in an interdisciplinary team.

You will evaluate patients for speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders, develop therapy plans, deliver interventions, and educate families. Licensure in state is required, CCC-SLP preferred, CPR current, travel minimal.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• State SLP licensure required (current).
• CCC-SLP from ASHA preferred or required.
• CPR certification current preferred.
• 0–1 years experience as stated.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patients to identify speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders through clinical assessments and interviews.
• Develops and implements individualized therapy plans based on assessment findings with measurable goals.
• Provides therapy to improve communication skills, including articulation, language comprehension, voice, fluency, and swallowing.
• Educates patients and families about disorders, therapy techniques, and strategies to support progress.
• Maintains accurate documentation of evaluations, progress notes, and treatment plans.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Other duties as assigned.

Position Overview

The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP), is responsible for providing a full range of speech-language pathology services including assessment, treatment planning and therapeutic interventions in an interdisciplinary environment consistent with the position's qualifications, professional practices and ethical standards.

• Evaluates patients to identify speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders through clinical assessments, standardized tests, and patient interviews.
• Develops and implements individualized therapy plans based on assessment findings, setting measurable goals to address patients' specific needs.
• Provides therapy to improve patients’ communication skills, including articulation, language comprehension, voice modulation, and fluency, as well as swallowing and feeding abilities.
• Educates patients and their families about the nature of disorders, therapy techniques, and strategies to support progress and enhance communication and swallowing in daily life.
• Maintains accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient evaluations, progress notes, and treatment plans in compliance with facility policies and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education: Master Degree

Licenses And Certifications

Must have and maintain a current, valid state SLP licensure

Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred or required

Current valid CPR certification, preferred

Travel: Yes. Minimally, as required (Typically less than 10%)
