Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for a school-based, contracted position near Lucerne, IN for the 26/27 school semester. You will assess and support students' communication needs within IEPs, collaborating with teachers and families.

Your day-to-day includes assessment, intervention, documentation, and coordination with educators to implement classroom modifications and at-home strategies to reinforce progress.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program is required.
• Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist is required.
• CCC/CFY considered; CCC preferred but CFY encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Maintain clear documentation of student progress and interventions.
• Consult with teachers and staff on communication strategies and classroom modifications.
• Provide parent/guardian education on at-home strategies to reinforce progress.

Qualifications and Experience Needed:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but clinical fellows are encouraged to apply
• Previous experience working with children or in a school setting is a plus
• Ability to collaborate with educators, support staff, and caregivers
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and adaptability
