Job summary

Twin Fountains Home for Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a PRN Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a proactive, multidisciplinary team. The role focuses on evaluating swallowing, speech, language, and cognitive disorders and designing intervention plans.

Candidates must hold state licensure or eligibility, CCC in Speech-Language Pathology or eligibility for certification pending, and BLS/CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as an SLP is required.
• Current CCC in Speech-Language Pathology from ASHA or eligibility for certification pending professional experience required.
• Certified BLS/CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' abilities and design intervention plans for swallowing, speech, language, and cognition.
• Treat patients using procedures and equipment to improve speech, swallow, and cognitive function.
• Manage work processes efficiently and complete tasks in a timely manner.
• Complete post-intervention activities including documentation, communication, and charge capture.

Position Summary

As a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP), you will be part of a proactive, multidisciplinary team. Candidates must have excellent communication skills, sensitivity to diverse populations and the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment. Requires critical thinking, complex problem solving, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Duties

• Evaluating patient's abilities and designing appropriate intervention plans to address swallowing, speech, language, and cognitive disorders.
• Treating patients with therapeutic procedures, modalities and or equipment to improve speech/swallow/cognitive function.
• Managing work processes efficiently, by completing tasks and assignments in a timely manner.
• Consistent completion of post-intervention activities including documentation, communication, charge capture.

Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Qualifications:

Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Minimum Qualifications

• Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) required.
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language & Hearing Association or eligibility for Certification pending professional experience required.
• Certified BLS/CPR certification required.
