EDEN EAST is seeking a compassionate Part-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our rehabilitation team at Edenbrook Second Ave. The role focuses on developing, recovering, or maintaining daily living and work skills for residents with physical, mental, or developmental conditions.

Required qualifications include a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and an active Pennsylvania SLP license. Prior long-term care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) from an accredited program.
• Active Pennsylvania Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license.
• Experience in long-term care or a skilled nursing facility is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs therapy interventions utilizing standard therapy techniques and skills as appropriate for the condition of the patient.
• Communicate patient progress or problems to supervisor and other team members; assist with patient scheduling and post charges daily to patient records.
• Instruct patient's family or nursing staff in follow-through programs.
• Maintain equipment and work area in a safe and clean condition.
