Job summary

HealthPro Pediatrics, a division of HealthPro Heritage, is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for a Fredericksburg, VA school-based position.

The role is full-time (W-2) with hourly pay between $40–$45. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, and CEUs; CFYs welcome. You will work with pre-K to 5th grade students and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Education: Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Licensure: Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist, or license eligible.
• Certification: Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist. ASHA CCC-SLP.
• Skills: Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Patient Assessment: Conduct comprehensive evaluations of speech, language, voice, and swallowing abilities using standardized tests and observations; develop accurate diagnoses.
• Treatment and Education: Implement evidence-based therapies; monitor and adjust treatment plans; educate families on disorders and strategies.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of evaluations, progress, and treatment plans; ensure compliance.
• Collaboration: Work with healthcare providers to ensure effective patient care and participate in multidisciplinary meetings.

Proficient in using diagnostic tools, therapy equipment, relevant software, and electronic health record systems, with a proven ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
