Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students in an elementary school in Easton, MD for the 2025–2026 school year. This is a rewarding opportunity to help students improve their communication skills and access their education more effectively.

The ideal candidate is collaborative, student-centered, and passionate about helping children develop speech, language, and communication abilities that support their academic and social success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct speech and language evaluations to identify communication disorders
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students receiving speech services
  • Provide direct speech-language therapy to students individually or in small groups
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student progress
  • Track student progress and maintain accurate documentation and therapy notes
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
  • Provide strategies and recommendations to classroom teachers to support communication in the classroom
  • Stay current with best practices and participate in professional development opportunities
Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders (required)
  • Valid Maryland Speech-Language Pathologist license or eligibility to obtain
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred but not required
  • Experience working with children in a school setting preferred
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
