Job summary

TheraPeds Partners is seeking a full-time or part-time hybrid Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a school-based position in Easton, MD. The SLP will provide therapy, evaluations, IEP development, and progress monitoring for PreK–12 students across multiple grade levels.

The ideal candidate has a Master’s or PhD in SLP with state licensure, ASHA credentials if possible, and strong communication and organizational skills.

  • State license as SLP required.
  • Department of Education licensure as SLP required.
  • ASHA certification (CCC) preferred.
  • CF-SLP placement may be available.
  • Experience in school settings preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct speech-language pathology services to PreK–12 students.
  • Conduct assessments and develop IEPs; monitor progress.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including teachers and parents.

As a team of special education providers, we understand the education process, IDEA requirements, and the importance of collaboration within multidisciplinary teams. This is a full-time or part-time, hybrid role as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) serving a school located in Easton, MD.

The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) will be responsible for providing therapy services to students, conducting assessments, developing IEP plans, evaluating progress, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams (therapists, educators, parents). The role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a passion for working with students with special needs.

Job Details
  • Full-time opportunity with a 37.5-hour work week
  • Full-time or part-time opportunities available
  • 2026-2027 school year (August 2026 through May 2027)
  • Hybrid schedule combining on-site and remote responsibilities
  • School-based assignment serving students across PreK-12 grade levels
  • Responsibilities include providing direct therapy, conducting evaluations, consulting with educational teams, and managing assigned caseloads
  • Guaranteed paid hours that include treatment, documentation, planning, meetings, and other administrative responsibilities
  • Well-balanced caseloads designed to support quality student services
  • Ongoing collaboration and support from both the partnering school district and the TheraPeds team
  • Competitive compensation of $55-$65+ per hour, with estimated weekly earnings of $2,060-$2,437+
Requirements
Qualifications
  • Master's or PhD degree from a Speech-Language Pathology program
  • State License as Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Department of Education Licensure as a SLP
  • National License: ASHA
  • Licensing with the State Department of Education, where required
  • CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) preferred
  • CF-SLP placement may be available
  • Experience working with children
  • Experience in a school setting preferred, but not required
  • Organizational and time management skills
  • Proficient in use of technology
  • Fingerprint background clearance
  • Ability to collaborate with school staff and parents with a demonstrated ability to exercise a high level of tact and discretion in both internal and external communications
Physical Requirements

Working and playing with students requires that employees must be able to perform the necessary physical movement functions, as needed, such as lifting, sitting, walking, standing, crawling, and engaging with students in all physical locations and activities, while adhering to the duties outlined by the district.
