Job summary

The Gardens Health & Rehabilitation Center in Daytona Beach, FL seeks a Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in a full-time role. Qualifications

  • Instruct clients in techniques for more effective communication, including sign language, lip reading, and voice improvement.
  • Educate patients and family members about communication techniques and strategies to cope with or avoid personal misunderstandings.
  • Communicate with the dietary department regarding rehabilitation lunches for patients with swallow dysfunctions.

Position Overview

The Speech Pathologist is responsible for facilitating the recovery of speech, language, swallowing and cognitive function for the patients who come through our facility.

Requirements
  • Current Speech Language Pathologist license in the state of residency
  • Current CPR certification
