Job summary

Family of Kidz in Beacon, NY is seeking a Pediatric Speech Therapist to provide direct therapy to children in home/daycare and community settings. The role offers both part-time and full-time possibilities with compensation of $112/hour, depending on experience and licensure.

Responsibilities include designing interventions, conducting evaluations, and collaborating with families, school teams, and coordinators to support child progress. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Licensed SLP with NY licensure.
• NYSED TSSLD/TSHH certification required or preferred.
• Experience with autism preferred.
• Experience with AAC devices a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement therapeutic interventions for children on caseload.
• Administer and write up SLP evaluations.
• Communicate with lead supervisors and coordinators about case management.
• Maintain professionalism with families, school teams and professionals.
• Maintain accurate attendance and billing logs.
• Create and maintain schedules with families and school personnel.
• Collect data on IFSP/IEP goals and report progress quarterly.
• Attend CPSE/CSE meetings or annual reviews.

• Status: Part-Time, Fee for Service or Full time Potential
• Compensation: $112/hour for home/daycare/community

Please note this is a range. Rates are determined by the service provided, professional experience and license/certifications held. In addition the position posted may be either full-time or fee-for-service (FFS), depending on the current caseload which will be discussed during the interview. This arrangement can vary and is subject to change.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement creative individual and/or group therapeutic interventions for all children on your caseload.
• Administer and write up occupational therapy evaluations.
• Ongoing communication with lead supervisors & coordinators, specifically related to case management.
• Maintain professionalism with families, school teams, and other professionals
• Maintain accurate and timely attendance and billing logs.
• Create and maintain schedules with assigned individual families/school personnel.
• Collects data on each IFSP/IEP goal and reports on progress quarterly.
• Provide input and attend/teleconference initial CPSE/CSE meetings and/or annual reviews.
