Job summary

Family of Kidz seeks a licensed Pediatric Speech Therapist to join our Dutchess County, NY team. The role offers part-time hours with potential for fee-for-service or full-time opportunities, and compensation of $112/hour depending on caseload, license, and certifications.

Responsibilities include designing and implementing therapy, writing evaluations, and coordinating with school teams and families. Familiarity with AAC devices and autism experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with NY licensure.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement creative individual and/or group therapeutic interventions for all children on your caseload.
• Administer and write up occupational therapy evaluations.
• Communicate with lead supervisors & coordinators regarding case management.
• Maintain professionalism with families, school teams, and other professionals.
• Maintain accurate attendance and billing logs.
• Create and maintain schedules with assigned families/school personnel.
• Collect data on IFSP/IEP goals and report progress quarterly.
• Provide input and attend CPSE/CSE meetings and annual reviews.

Please note this is a range. Rates are determined by the service provided, professional experience and license/certifications held. In addition the position posted may be either full-time or fee-for-service (FFS), depending on the current caseload which will be discussed during the interview. This arrangement can vary and is subject to change.

• Licensed Speech‑Language Pathologist
• NYSED Certifications: TSSLD or TSHH
• Experience working with students with autism preferred.
• Experience programming Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) Devices
• Bilingual is a plus.
