Job summary

Family of Kidz is seeking a Pediatric Speech Therapist to design and deliver individualized and group speech-language therapy for children in home, daycare, or community settings. The role offers part-time hours with potential for full-time as caseload allows and is compensated at $112/hour based on services rendered and licensure.

Excellent collaboration with families, school teams, and professionals is essential.

Qualifications

• Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in NY.
• NYSED certification TSSLD or TSHH required.
• Experience with students with autism preferred.
• Experience programming AAC devices.
• Bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement creative individual or group interventions for all children on caseload.
• Administer and document speech-language evaluations.
• Coordinate with supervisors and coordinators on case management.
• Maintain professionalism with families, school teams, and other professionals.
• Maintain accurate attendance and billing logs; create schedules with families/school personnel.
• Collect data on IFSP/IEP goals and report progress quarterly.
• Attend CPSE/CSE meetings and annual reviews as needed.

Details about this opportunity

• Status: Part-Time, Fee for Service or Full time Potential
• Compensation: $112/hour for home/daycare/community

Please note this is a range. Rates are determined by the service provided, professional experience and license/certifications held. In addition the position posted may be either full-time or fee-for-service (FFS), depending on the current caseload which will be discussed during the interview. This arrangement can vary and is subject to change.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement creative individual and/or group therapeutic interventions for all children on your caseload.
• Administer and write up occupational therapy evaluations.
• Ongoing communication with lead supervisors & coordinators, specifically related to case management.
• Maintain professionalism with families, school teams, and other professionals
• Maintain accurate and timely attendance and billing logs.
• Create and maintain schedules with assigned individual families/school personnel.
• Collects data on each IFSP/IEP goal and reports on progress quarterly.
• Provide input and attend/teleconference initial CPSE/CSE meetings and/or annual reviews.
