Job summary

Pediatric Therapeutic Services (PTS) is seeking a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist to provide early intervention services across Butler County, PA, working with children birth to age 3. The role includes some administrative duties to assist with marketing and building the local program.

Responsibilities include delivering IFSP-based therapy in homes, daycares, and other community settings; coaching families on intervention strategies; and participating in IFSP/ multidisciplinary meetings

Qualifications

  • Valid state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Child Abuse, Federal, and State Clearances
  • Pediatric CPR and First Aid for the HealthCare Provider

  • Provide services in homes, daycares and other community settings.
  • Coach families/caregivers on intervention strategies to facilitate engagement and transfer skills across settings.
  • Participate in IFSP and multi-disciplinary team meetings to evaluate needs and progress and develop/ revise interventions, objectives, and goals.
  • Compile, maintain, and file all required student documentation and reports in compliance with deadlines, HIPAA, and regulations.

Job description

Pediatric Therapeutic Services (PTS) is seeking a part time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide early intervention (infant/toddler-Birth to 3yrs old) services across Butler County, PA.

This is a unique roll and would also require some administrative type duties to assist with marketing and building the program in the county.

Responsibilities:
  • Follow Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP) by providing speech therapy services to children from birth to age 3 as well as consultation with the family/caregivers and other team members to support the child in reaching their specific developmental goals.
  • Provide services in homes, daycares and other community settings.
  • Coach families/caregivers on intervention strategies to facilitate their engagement and active involvement and transfer skills across settings.
  • Participate in IFSP and multi-disciplinary team meetings to assist in evaluating student needs/progress and to develop and/or revise individualized therapy interventions, objectives, and goals.
  • Compile, maintain, and file all required student documentation and reports in compliance with deadlines, HIPPA, and County/State/Federal regulations.
