Job summary

A specialized pediatric therapy service provider is seeking a Per Diem Speech-Language Pathologist to deliver early intervention services for infants and toddlers in Butler County, PA. This position offers flexibility as an independent contractor and the possibility to transition to full-time work. Responsibilities include providing therapy based on Individualized Family Service Plans and coaching families in intervention strategies. Candidates must hold valid state qualifications, Child Abuse clearances, and certification in Pediatric CPR and First Aid.

Qualifications

  • Must hold a valid state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Must have Child Abuse, Federal, and State Clearances.
  • Must be certified in Pediatric CPR and First Aid for Health Care Provider.

Responsibilities

  • Provide therapy services for children from birth to age 3.
  • Consult with families and team members to achieve developmental goals.
  • Coach families on intervention strategies for skill transfer.

Job description

Position Summary

Pediatric Therapeutic Services (PTS) is seeking a Per Diem Speech‑Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide early intervention services for infants and toddlers (Birth to 3 years old) in Butler County, PA.

This is a per diem position with the potential to build to full time if desired.

Responsibilities
  • Provide therapy services from birth to age 3, following Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP), and consult with families/caregivers and other team members to help children reach developmental goals.
  • Provide services in homes, daycares, and other community settings.
  • Coach families and caregivers on intervention strategies to facilitate engagement and skill transfer across settings.
  • Participate in IFSP and multidisciplinary team meetings to evaluate student needs, progress, and to develop and/or revise individualized therapy interventions, objectives, and goals.
  • Compile, maintain, and file all required student documentation and reports in compliance with deadlines, HIPAA, and County/State/Federal regulations.
