Job summary

The Legacy at Boca Raton Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a compassionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our rehabilitation team in Boca Raton, FL. The SLP will evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders while promoting independence and quality of life.

Responsibilities include developing individualized treatment plans, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team, maintaining documentation, and educating residents and families.

Qualifications

  • Active Florida Speech Language Pathologist license in good standing.
  • CCC certification preferred.
  • Experience in skilled nursing facility, rehabilitation center, or healthcare setting preferred.
  • Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary team.
  • Compassionate, dependable, and resident-focused.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate residents with speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on resident needs and goals.
  • Provide speech therapy services to improve communication, cognition, and swallowing function.
  • Monitor resident progress and adjust treatment plans as appropriate.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary team members to support positive resident outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory and facility standards.
  • Educate residents and families regarding therapy programs and treatment goals.
  • Participate in care planning meetings and discharge planning processes.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and facility policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and supportive therapy environment.

The Legacy at Boca Raton Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our rehabilitation team. The SLP will evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, communication, voice, and swallowing disorders while helping residents achieve their highest level of independence and quality of life.

Qualifications
