Job summary

Legacy Healthcare Services seeks a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a PRN role delivering compassionate care to seniors in our communities. You will evaluate and treat swallowing disorders and communication/cognitive impairments, set treatment goals, and collaborate with a coordinated care team to support residents.

This position offers a Monday–Friday schedule with no weekends or holidays, an array of benefits, and ongoing CEUs.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
  • CCC-SLP required or eligible.
  • Current state licensure as an SLP or ability to obtain before starting employment.
  • Excellent interpersonal, fiscal, and clinical skills.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and treat patients for swallowing disorders and communication/cognitive impairments.
  • Establish treatment goals and develop and implement SLP treatment programs.
  • Provide rehabilitative services to patients under medical orders as part of a coordinated team.
  • Participate in clinical conferences to coordinate the plan of care for patients.
  • Treat residents one-on-one with individualized treatment approaches.

  • Establish treatment goals, as well as develop and implement appropriate Speech Pathology treatment programs based upon a full clinical evaluation
  • Provide rehabilitative services to patients under specific medical orders as part of a coordinated team.
  • Participate in clinical conferences to share and coordinate the plan of care for patients
  • Treat residents one on one so each patient gets individualized attention through private treatment sessions with a functional based treatment approach

Position requirements:
  • Masters Degree from an accredited graduate program in speech language pathology school.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC- SLP)
  • Current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist / SLP, or ability to obtain prior to beginning employment
  • Excellent interpersonal, fiscal, and clinical skills
Pay Range

USD $43.00 - USD $53.00 /Hr.
