Job summary

Recover-Care seeks a Speech Language Pathologist to evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with speech or language disorders and to formulate individualized treatment programs in a SNF setting in Beloit, Kansas.

Responsibilities include evaluating residents, developing care plans, administering tests, instructing families, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with policies and regulations. A Master’s or Doctorate in Speech-Language Pathology and state licensure are required.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Masters, or Doctorate in Speech language Pathology.
  • State license as a speech pathologist required.
  • Proficiency with all applicable state, federal, and professional standards

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with speech, hearing, cognitive, or swallowing issues.
  • Under a physician's direction, provide direct patient/resident treatment based on established plan of care.
  • Screens and evaluates residents and develops appropriate care plans
  • Plans, directs, or conducts rehabilitative treatment programs to restore communicative efficiency for speech/swallowing/cognition.
  • Administers, scores, and interprets specialized hearing and speech tests.
  • Instructs residents, families, and caregivers to monitor speech and practice new skills.
  • Completes required forms and documents in accordance with company policy and state/federal regulations.
  • Maintains patient records in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Devises special tools and treatments for the specific needs of patients.

Job Summary:

The Speech Pathologist will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with speech or language disorders, formulate individualized treatment programs.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with speech, hearing, cognitive, or swallowing issues.

Education and Experience:
