Birch Healthcare Center in New Hampshire is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with speech or language disorders. You will formulate individualized treatment programs and work under physician direction to deliver direct patient care.

The role requires a Masters/Doctorate in Speech-Language Pathology and state licensure, with proficiency in standards. An on-site SNF setting may require occasional travel and collaboration with families and caretakers.

Competenze

• Graduate of an accredited Masters, or Doctorate in Speech language Pathology.
• State license as a speech pathologist required.
• Proficiency with all applicable state, federal, and professional standards

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with speech, hearing, cognitive, or swallowing issues.
• Under a physician’s direction, provides direct patient / resident treatment based on established plan of care.
• Screens and evaluates Resident and develops appropriate care plan
• Plans, directs, or conducts rehabilitative treatment programs to restore communicative efficiency of individuals with communication and / or swallowing or cognitive problems.
• Administers, scores, and interprets specialized hearing and speech tests.
• Instructs residents, families, and caregivers to monitor speech and provide ways to practice new skills.
• Completes required forms and documents in accordance with company policy and state and/or federal regulations.
• Maintains patient records in an accurate and timely manner.
• Devises special tools and treatments for the specific needs of patients.

Job Summary

The Speech Pathologist will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with speech or language disorders, formulate individualized treatment programs.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with speech, hearing, cognitive, or swallowing issues.
• Under a physician’s direction, provides direct patient / resident treatment based on established plan of care.
