Job summary

Glendale Transitional Care Center is looking for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to evaluate and treat residents within the scope of practice and federal guidelines. The position offers a salary range of $104,000–$124,800 per year, with PRN/on-call duties and a sign-on bonus.

Benefits include PTO and referral bonuses. The SLP will administer and interpret tests, develop care plans, and ensure documentation complies with regulations and company policy.

Qualifications

• Master of Science degree in Speech Language Pathology.
• One year of clinical experience preferred.
• Certification in Clinical Competency.
• Current license to practice Speech-Language Pathology issued by the state of California.

Responsibilities

• Screens and evaluates residents and develops appropriate plan of care.
• Provides direct resident treatment in accordance with an established plan of care.
• Administers, scores, and interprets specialized hearing and speech tests.
• Works with residents for functional swallow techniques.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
• Completes required forms and documents in accordance with company policy and state and/or federal regulations.
