Job summary

Majestic Care Goshen is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to deliver high-quality rehabilitative care for residents with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders. You will implement individualized treatment plans, support safe swallowing, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure resident-centered therapy.

The role requires a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, current state licensure, and preferably CCC-SLP (CF candidates may be considered).

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• CCC-SLP from ASHA preferred; CF candidates may be considered.
• 2+ years of experience in a skilled nursing facility or geriatric care setting preferred.
• Familiarity with Medicare, PDPM, and SNF documentation standards strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate residents’ speech, language, cognitive communication, and swallowing function.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and resident goals.
• Provide therapeutic interventions targeting speech, language, voice, fluency, cognitive communication, and dysphagia disorders.
• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on communication strategies and safe swallowing techniques.
• Monitor resident progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to optimize outcomes.
• Maintain a safe, supportive, and engaging therapeutic environment that encourages resident participation and comfort.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to care planning discussions.
