Job summary

Majestic Care Goshen seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in a geriatric setting.

You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, develop individualized treatment plans, document progress per Medicare/PDPM guidelines, and promote resident safety and quality of life. Applicants should hold a Master’s in SLP, be licensed in the state, and ideally CCC-SLP; CF candidates considered.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• CCC-SLP preferred; CF candidates may be considered.
• 2+ years of experience in a skilled nursing facility or geriatric care setting preferred.
• Familiarity with Medicare, PDPM, and SNF documentation standards strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents’ speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing function.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Provide interventions for speech, language, voice, fluency, cognitive communication, and dysphagia.
• Educate residents and families on communication strategies and safe swallowing.
• Monitor progress and adjust plans to optimize outcomes.
• Document evaluations, treatment sessions, progress notes, and billing per policies.
