Job summary

Amherst-Pelham Regional School District in Amherst, MA is seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist to support secondary students. The role provides direct services addressing language, fluency, articulation, and social communication, in collaboration with general education and other specialists.

The successful candidate will hold SLP licenses and MA DESE certification (All levels). Bilingual EN/ES is highly preferable but not required.

Qualifications

  • Must hold SLP licenses.
  • MA DESE SLP certification (All levels).
  • Bilingual EN/ES highly preferable but not required.
  • Experience in public schools preferred but not required.
  • Strong collaboration and data-driven planning.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct speech-language pathology services to secondary students.
  • Develop and implement therapy plans, treatment, and progress notes.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments; participate in IEP meetings; write IEPs and progress reports.
  • Deliver services in General Education settings, service providers' offices, or in collaboration with others.
  • Collaborate in a transdisciplinary model of intervention across curricula.
  • Contribute to Medicaid billing documentation as applicable.
