Job summary

Ro Health is seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to work in a school setting in the Greater Oakland area. The role involves in-person, school-based caseload primarily K-12, with a site-based schedule.

You will conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, provide therapy for articulation, language, and swallowing disorders, and support students and families. Competitive pay at $90/hour+ with comprehensive benefits and PTO.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is required.
• Current CA state SLP license in good standing.
• CPR/BLS certification is required.
• Compliance with state and contract-specific requirements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments to evaluate speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in individuals of all ages.
• Use standardized tests, observations, and interviews to gather diagnostic information.
• Develop individualized treatment plans with measurable goals tailored to the needs of each client.
• Provide therapy to individuals with articulation, fluency, language delays, and language disorders.
• Provide counseling and support to individuals and families, addressing emotional and social aspects of communication disorders.
• Train individuals in the use of assistive technologies to enhance communication and daily living.
• Conduct screenings to identify individuals at risk for speech and language disorders and implement preventive measures.

• Provide counseling and support to individuals and their families, addressing emotional and social aspects of communication disorders
• Integrate and train individuals in the use of assistive technologies that can enhance communication and daily living
• Conduct screenings to identify individuals at risk for speech and language disorders and implement preventive measures

Qualifications
