Job summary

Ascend Rehab Services is seeking a School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist to support K-12 students in the San Ramon area. Join a collaborative, clinician-led team focused on helping students build communication skills and succeed in the classroom.

You will conduct evaluations, develop IEP goals, provide direct therapy, collaborate with teachers and families, and document progress while using AAC and assistive technology as needed.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Active CA SLP License or eligibility required.
• Experience or interest in pediatric/school-based populations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech and language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide direct therapy services (individual and group) for students with a range of communication needs
• Develop and implement IEP goals related to speech, language, social communication, and pragmatics
• Collaborate with teachers, OTs, psychologists, and school staff to support student success
• Participate in IEP meetings and communicate with families
• Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance with school guidelines
• Support use of AAC and assistive technology as needed
